\"\"<\/a>A group of students from the theological faculty of Berlin\u2019s Humboldt University visited the Institute in the context of an excusion to Strasbourg in May 2018. The excursion took place under the leadership of Dr. Andrea Hofmann, dedicated to the theme of \u201cThe Reformation in Strasbourg“. The visit to the Institute served a specific aspect of this theme and at the same time its present-day relevance: the emergence and persecution of Mennonite congregations, alongside the intensive dialogue process between the Lutheran World Federation and the Mennonite World Conference, which led to a service of reconciliation between the two groups in Stuttgart in 2010. Lectures from Prof. Jennifer Wasmuth and Prof. Theodor Dieter opened the way for a lively conversation, with the future of ecumenism as the central point of concern.<\/p>\n
