As part of the meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Institute hosted a small celebration. Highlights included a greeting from the General Secretary of the Lutheran World Federation(General Secretary, Greetings 60 Years)read out by Dirk Lange, our Acting Director, and a talk by Bishop Dr. Eero Huovinen from Finland (Huovinen, Center of expertise for Lutheran ecumenismwho was Chairman of the Board of Trustees for many years. In the context of this meeting, the statutes of an association were also signed, giving the Institute full legal capacity under French law (in its Alsace and Lorraine form).
