In September 2022, we at long last enjoyed the fifth and final meeting of the International Lutheran-Pentecostal Dialogue, after a pandemic-induced hiatus!
We met at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, warmly hosted by Dr. Mel Robeck and his wife Patsy Robeck. Our task was to finalize our report, composed from the working drafts created at our previous four meetings (in the Philippines, Germany, Chile, and Madagascar). Despite the short time and intensive demand of group editing, we completed our 30-page report and are pleased the result. We also discussed plans to request a continuation of our dialogue from the Pentecostal World Fellowship (which has formally adopted the dialogue) and the Lutheran World Federation, as well as topics we would like to cover in the next round.
